Are any Rowabi fixtures rated for outdoor or damp locations?

Yes — the catalog flags damp-rated fixtures for covered patios and porches; check the individual listing before buying for an outdoor space.

How long does shipping take?

Standard ground shipping runs 5 to 10 business days (about 6 on average) to the 48 contiguous states; expedited FedEx or UPS delivery arrives in 3 to 5 business days after the order leaves the warehouse.

What is the return window?

45 days from delivery, provided the fixture is uninstalled and in its original packaging. Custom or made-to-order pieces are excluded except for defects or shipping damage.

What makes handwoven rattan lighting a good fit for a home you plan to stay in?

Rattan shades diffuse light rather than casting it directly, which softens the kind of overhead glare that can make a room feel harsh in the evening. The material also pairs naturally with the kind of warm, low-maintenance decor many households lean toward when they are settling in for the long term rather than redecorating every few years — one fixture change over a kitchen island or living room seating area can shift the whole room without a renovation.

Rowabi Rattan Pendant Lights

Handwoven rattan pendant lights, sconces, and flush mounts from a designer lighting brand with over 120 styles, organized by room and priced mostly under $350.

Key Features

Each shade is woven by hand over a metal or bamboo frame, so the grain and weave tighten or loosen slightly from piece to piece — no two fixtures match exactly.
Bathroom, kitchen, and outdoor listings are marked damp-rated where relevant, so a covered porch or humid bathroom isn't guesswork.
Sizes range from small single-bulb pendants to large multi-light fixtures, so the same woven look works over a reading nook or a full dining table without switching styles.
A trade program offers separate pricing for anyone ordering multiple fixtures at once, such as re-lighting several rooms in the same visit.

Best for

Anyone updating a living room, entryway, or kitchen with a natural-texture statement light — the woven rattan shapes work especially well over an island, breakfast nook, or reading chair.

As a gift

A housewarming or milestone gift for a parent redecorating or settling into a new home, where one striking pendant does more visual work than several smaller changes.

Worth knowing

Fixtures must be returned uninstalled and in original packaging, so confirm the look and finish before wiring it in — once installed, it can't go back except for a defect. Made-to-order pieces have a narrower exception still: only damage or a manufacturing defect qualifies for a return, not a change of mind.

Using rattan pendant lights over a kitchen island

Rowabi's positioning is designer lighting sold direct from the people who weave it, rather than through a traditional lighting showroom — the site invites customers to connect with the artisans behind a piece rather than a sales floor. That direct structure is also why some fixtures are made to order: check the individual listing for a lead time before assuming next-week delivery, since not everything ships from stock. For a household planning to replace fixtures in more than one or two rooms, or a designer working across a full project, the trade program is worth asking about before ordering pieces individually — it runs on separate pricing from the retail site. Because these are hardwired ceiling and wall fixtures rather than plug-in lamps, installation means working inside an existing electrical box. Anyone comfortable with that kind of work — the buyer or a family member — can usually swap the fixture in an afternoon; anyone unsure should budget for an electrician's time rather than treat it as a simple swap.
